I love it when a plan comes together.

There’s never enough time when it comes to indie filmmaking, so we have to fight against the tide to make the most of the time we do have.  Cement Suitcase is a character-driven, intimate story, but it’s still a rather complex production with dozens of characters and dozens of locations.  Figuring out how to fit that all into our little 15-day shooting schedule is a challenge best handled with 162 little strips of paper!

Scheduling meeting

Rick, John, and Jeff go over the schedule in detail

They say there is no art without limitations, so we ought to be brewin’ up some damn fancy art for you real soon!

(I’m not sure why I said that with an Old West intonation.  I actually said it out loud.  Trust me with your productions, folks!)

Stripboards!

Every single scene from the movie must be included.

We’re less than two weeks from production, and excitement is mounting (along with a fair amount of stress).  However, the schedule is now in place which is a major hurdle we’ve now leaped!   Assuming no one sneezes, that is.
