Cement Suitcase

The trailer is finished! Well, at least for now. I expect once the movie’s finished we’ll want to revisit this with better graphics and some of the visual fx that are not yet completed. But here it is!

We hope you enjoy it. If you have any constructive feedback, we’re all ears. We showed this trailer to quite a lot of people, and even had a test screening with a few friends so that we could see what was getting across, what people were liking, and whether it would entice them to want to see the movie. It’s really interesting to see what people take away from the story when you boil it down to under 2 minutes. Some things that were obvious to us were just not obvious in the first rough cuts.

Personally, I do *not* like editing trailers. When I was a kid, my sister Keri generally liked the same TV shows, so when she missed an episode she’d ask me what happened. Well, my explanation would usually take longer than the actual episode. I just thought (and still think) that every detail is important! So summary has never been one of my strong points. (Not that summary is really the goal of a trailer, but you get my drift.)

This trailer did seem to get everyone excited about the project. I was definitely excited to show off Jeff’s extraordinary cinematography, and the performances of our terrific cast.
