River Ridge to the rescue

The River Ridge Golf Course Restaurant in Selah, Wash., saved the day recently for the crew of “Cement Suitcase,” jumping on board as a sponsor to let the production film on site later this week.

After the film’s initial location for a golf course fell through last minute because of scheduling conflicts, “Cement Suitcase” creators scrambled to find a new site to film scenes upon. Without a second thought, owner Dean Laurvick and River Ridge offered its location and services with a smile, which the director and producers thankfully accepted.

The location was crucial to filming important scenes in the film, so a hearty thanks goes out to the gracious soon-to-be hosts of the movie crew.

“Cement Suitcase” will be shot on location at the golf course Friday, July 16, and Saturday, July 17.
